From a crypto Discord to production fintech
Architecture-first, AI-augmented — tools accelerate, but design decisions endure.
I found my way into software through thenewboston — a project on a mission to build a cryptocurrency specifically for developers. I jumped into the community early, built and managed a Discord that was soon merged into the official project by its creator, and ended up running contributor payments and moderating a large distributed technical community. That was my first real taste of community, open source, and code — and it stuck.
From there I moved into QA engineering on the same project, reporting 20+ usability and quality issues while learning how real products get built. I studied software engineering at Virtual University of Pakistan, sharpened my full-stack skills through an intensive MERN fellowship at Bytewise, and joined Teresol in 2024 as a Software Design Engineer.
Today I build production fintech software for one of Pakistan's leading banks — owning features end to end, from UI architecture to workflow automation — and ship my own products on the side.
